Local planning authorities

Not all planning authorities have access to in house ecological advice and as such may struggle to assess ecological reports submitted in support of planning applications or to determine whether or not an ecological report is required.

This can result in adverse impacts on wildlife and might mean that not all material considerations have been considered in determining the application which leaving the authority open to judicial review.

We have a wealth of experience advising planners on planning applications and can do this on a case by case or as part of a service level agreement.
